Rescued Rascals
Trine

When Trine was not even a year old he climbed into a clothes dryer. A few minutes later some wet clothes were thrown on top of him and the dryer was turned on. His owner heard his screams and found him. His hind leg was so mangled it had to be removed. Later, when his owner found out she had to move, she decided to have Trine put down. Such a sad, short life for such a sweet cat. Two Cat Angels heard his story and decided to find him a forever home. Today Trine is happy and safe. He zips around pretty fast on three legs but he tires easily. He loves to be held and is very talkative. Trine has learned that life isn't all bad and is a big believer in second chances.
Winston

On a cold winter day a man went outside to warm up his car. As he approached the vehicle he heard a cat crying. He looked around but didn't see anyone. When he unlocked the car door the crying got louder. The sound was coming from the front of the car so he popped the hood. Curled up in the engine was a tiny, freezing kitten.
Cats will climb into engines seeking heat. When the car is started the cat will be hurt or killed and at times the car will need repairs. It is recommended that you bang on the hood of the car before starting it in the winter.
Today Winston is in his forever home with a loving family. He has trained his humans to share the ham on their sandwiches with him. Winston is alive today because people took the time to care and make phone calls. Cats are domesticated animals and need our help. Please don't turn your back on an animal in need. You can make a difference!
Barney

Barney was rejected by his mother at a very young age. There was no way he could fend for himself on the street and survive. A Cat Angel flew in and took him to a place where he could be bottle fed until he picked up enough weight to survive on his own. Today Barney is in his forever home with two other cats and a Poodle. We are happy to say Barney won't be missing any more meals.
Ramone

Ramone was found on a porch one day sad and filthy. Both of his ears were mutilated from cat fights. Cat Angels were convinced that he needed to be neutered and on antibiotics fast. He appeared to be stray and yet one thing did not fit the pattern of a homeless cat. He was chubby! As pictures of him were shown around town, he was recognized by quite a few people. There was a restaurant nearby that had tables outside for customers to use when the weather was nice. Ramone would show up when he smelled cheeseburgers and charmed people into sharing. The mystery of his size now solved. Today Ramone is safe and happy and on a more sensible diet.
