November 2002 was the occasion of my 50th birthday, and coincidentally, the year my good friend, Peter Marvey, was honored as "The Magician of the Year." He was so kind and generous to come all the way from Switzerland to attend my birthday party, and perform his world famous "Magic Hands" act as a birthday present.

Peter told me he loved "Chinese style" the best, so The Princess and I threw a dinner party in his honor in The Chinese Tea Room on 11/21/02.

The Medieval Hall in Havencrest Castle would be the site of the show. The center roundel of the stained glass Rose Window was made to hinge open like a door. A powerful spotlight was brought from the Art Center and placed behind the roundel to shine on the makeshift stage built over the staircase of The Medieval Hall.

After the show, host Alan St. George and magician Peter Marvey pose in front of Havencrest Castle's largest fireplace in the Medieval Hall. Above their heads, sculpted into the overmantel are "The Seven Deadly Sins."
Behind Alan St. George and Peter Marvey is Alan's sculpture covering the Medieval Hall fireplace's mantelpiece. It depicts Hercules as "Virtue" and Athena as "Wisdom" holding a mid-nineteenth century bronze doré plaque of an angel inspiring The Arts: Painting, Sculpture, Music, and Literature.
